Request For Proposals (RFP)
The Foundation announced a Call for Concept Papers on Tuesday May 4, 2010 at a Strategic Priorities Breakfast.

The Request for Proposal process occurs in two steps. First, applicants submit a Concept Paper and Preliminary Budget. Refer to the Concept Paper Guidelines for specific instructions. Applicants may submit more than one Concept Paper.
Applicants whose Concepts best fit the Foundation's Strategic Priorities are offered the opportunity to submit a full proposal. In the proposal stage, agencies should thoroughly review the Application Guidelines and ensure all forms are submitted in addition to the Narrative portion of the Proposal.
RFP Timeline
May 27 - Concept Papers due by 5:00 p.m.
July 7 – Committee of the Board reviews Concept Papers
July 8 – Applicants notified of decision
July 20 - Technical Assistance Day for organizations writing proposals. Sessions at 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. August 6 – Proposals due by 5:00 p.m.
August 11 -27 – Applicant site visits
October 7 – Applicants notified of decision
October 28 – Grantee orientation/letters of agreement signed
November 1 - First checks mailed |

- Memorandum(s) of Understanding, if applicable
- IRS Determination letter or other document certifying your tax exempt status
- IRS Form 990 from the most recent year
- Audited Financial Report
- Annual Report, if available
- Resume of key staff for the project
